Marine Resources Database System (MRDS) is an information system of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources based on the specimens, which deposited at the Reference Collection of Phuket Marine Biological Center (PMBC), and based on biodiversity information that published by Marine and Coastal Resources Research & Development Institute, which including PMBC and other five Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center, i.e., Lower Andaman Sea (MCRRCLA), the Eastern Gulf of Thailand (MCRRCE), the Upper Gulf of Thailand (MCRRCU), the Center Gulf of Thailand (MCRRCC), the Lower Gulf of Thailand (MCRRCL). The main objective of MRDS is to gather biodiversity information of marine fauna and flora in Thai waters.
